A Desktop Personal Computer that’s Completely Wireless!

If I were a PC manufacturer I’d be working on a box that is completely wireless!

It’s about 8x10x3 inches and has only one small cord for power. (like a cell phone)
The front panel has two super thin credit card sized slots, one for all personal data and the other for apps. The system has to recognize the difference in data and place it on the appropriate card.
My monitor – keyboard and mouse sit way over here on the desk, while the box is over on the book shelf, across the room. It does not have a fan because of the ssd memory. And… here’s the kicker, the motherboard is small and the video card is over here in my monitor.
Could use cloud computing for apps and the system is not windows or Mac… something in-between that allows me to separate all my personal files to one disc, which is removable when I want to sell the box for an upgrade. The other disc is for apps that I own. No more throw away hardware or hard discs to destroy.

Do you think anyone might be making a Personal Computer like this?
Kinda like the BloomBox of PC’s.

Documentary film “Flow”

Recycle at work… and have water purifiers installed at your sinks. Do not drink bottled water… it’s the same as tap water through a purifier. Want to get more info? Watch the movie “Flow”.

Irena Salina’s documentary film looks at all things water and the effects a dwindling supply has on health, prosperity and security. And recycling at work will become easier.

About the film.

Salina builds a case against the growing privatization of the world’s dwindling fresh water supply with an unflinching focus on politics, pollution, human rights, and the emergence of a domineering world water cartel.

Interviews with scientists and activists intelligently reveal the rapidly building crisis, at both the global and human scale, and the film introduces many of the governmental and corporate culprits behind the water grab, while begging the question “CAN ANYONE REALLY OWN WATER?”

Beyond identifying the problem, FLOW also gives viewers a look at the people and institutions providing practical solutions to the water crisis and those developing new technologies, which are fast becoming blueprints for a successful global and economic turnaround.

Check out flow the film web site for locations showing this film.

Daily blog for art and general info for start-ups and graphics know-how.

Many of us search for ways to save capital as we start up our new enterprise. Here’s some working ideas for those in dire need of an artist (cause they just can’t make a perfect circle). Lets say you need some logos, icons and general marketing materials. You can search various places on the web for that perfect designer. Depends on how long of a commitment you looking for. Try starting a contest over at Worth1000. you can get lots of design ideas… don’t have to use any of them and only have a small teense of cash out. Hate to say it… but Craigslist is another option. Problem is there are hacks residing beneath the rug. Any and all job offers are quickly met with automated response droids that shoot instant resumes at the new email listing. Its kinda sad for those of us who like to spend a bit of time re-writing our profiles to fit each new opportunity. When you’ve done a lot in your life… some things are more appropriate than others.
Blurb has some folks that show talent. And there are artists over at crestock and istockphoto and of course Kontain.

The first known art blog represents a mind in this sticky world. Bouncing across thoughts and starting a realm that borders on insanity. Good news… just a fleeting spark of the temporal lobe. Straight spine sitting face naked toward the screen, bad is represented as well as good. Digital imagery fast and sweet. Nothing real yet all is about each of us in the surreal container of the conscience depths.

Best compliment to a nation is learning the language before your visit. A country is built on its spoken word and each has become a quality structure. Language may become the next social science studies requirement in middle school, along with community volunteer work.

If traveling to another world… the highest complement is to speak in the culture and experience it to the fullest.

Just thinkin…
